MEETING NOTICE: The January club meeting will be held on Monday, May 10th, 2010 at 7:00pm at the Little Lake American Legion Hall.  Call Nick at 906-228-7010 for more information.  You don't have to be a member to attend a meeting.  Come and learn more about the UP Sandstormers ORV club!

  • Club Ride Night – Will resume in the spring.  Stay tuned for more details. 

  • Congratulations to all the Sandstormers who won their AMA District 16 Enduro class championship for 2009 - Brian Gray, Nick Zambon, Jeff Magowan, Steve Laituri.  Jack Drummond, Pete Caron and Dick Liberty took second place year end honors. 

  • The Sandstormers have two new A Class Enduro riders for 2010.  Steve Laituri and Jeff "Magoo" Magowan will have to ride with the big boys from now on.  See the 2009 AMA Enduro Advance List  for all the names of the riders who have advanced to the A class after the 2009 season.

  • Get out there and support the sport by attending any and all District 16 (Upper Michigan & Wisconsin), 14 (Lower Michigan) and 23 (Minnesota) Enduros.  Good luck to everyone participating in 2010. Click here for a printable schedule.

  • Fight the ban to sell youth off-highway vehicles (OHVs).  The UP Sandstormers urge all who enjoy the sport of off-road motorcycling and ATV riding to join with the AMA to fight the ban of youth off-highway vehicles (OHVs).  The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) has effectively banned the sale of such vehicles as of Feb. 10, 2009. The AMA is calling for action now to help reverse the potentially devastating effect this could have on the sport of OHV recreation. Please go to the AMA website to see how you can help!
