Reminder: The Bass Lake Trail cleanup is all set for Saturday, May 9th, at the Bass Lake trailhead. We will be meeting there between 9am and 10am. We had a great turnout at the Moss Lake Cleanup, but we are hoping to get even more help for this weekend! Again, after the cleanup, the club will be providing food at Up North Lodge. Hope to see everyone there!

Club rides will be starting up this Thursday, April 23rd, at 5pm. Members will be meeting at staging around that time and all are welcome! Group rides are a great way to find new trail and meet new people! Any level rider can come and find people to ride with. Hope to see you this Thursday at 5pm.
We are trying something new as the Sandstormer Club this year, and hope everyone takes advantage! This year, working one event (trail cleaning, enduro, mini moose, fun ride, etc.), you will be eligible for $10 off 2016′s member dues. Working a second event gets you another $15 off your 2016 member dues. So, to put it simply, if you are a member for 2015, help with two events, your 2016 member dues will be free! We hope to see some new faces at our events this year!
Another incentive for 2015 has to do with hours logged at these events. If you work 25 hours on the trail or helping out in some way over the course of this year’s events, you will be eligible for a $100 gift card redeemable at Zambon’s North Country Sales in Marquette. These hours need to be logged by you, and approved by Secretary Jeff Magowan or any Club Officer. Only one gift card is awarded per person, but feel free to continue to help out the club after your 25 hours! We hope this sparks some interest to come out and participate in this years events!
Our Fun Ride this year will be August 29th/30th. Details are still being worked out, but it will run as the same format as last year. Mostly guided rides, could be a couple easier trails arrowed for open rides. Also, a cookout will be held that afternoon after riding has finished for the day. Dates are subject to change so keep updated by checking in on this website!
Spring is right around the corner, so it’s time to dig out the chainsaws! Our first trail cleaning this year will be at Moss Lake, tentatively set for May 2nd/3rd; with everyone meeting at the trail head. An exact time will be announced closer to the date. Our second trail cleaning will be held at Bass Lake Trail, tentatively set for May 9th/10th. Again, meeting time will be announced closer to the date. Lets have a great turnout this year!
This year’s Loose Moose Enduro will be held Sunday, June 14th. The Mini-Moose, a family enduro, will be held that Saturday. Stay tuned for more information when it becomes available on this website, District 16 website, and District 14 website. Looking forward to another great event this year!
Come out and help clean up the Bass Lake Trail, August 20th! People will be arriving at the trail head around 4:00 pm. Crews will be clearing trail, putting up signage, etc. Hope to see you there! (questions, call Nick Zambon at 906-228-7010)
