It’s that time of year again to start thinking about our Fall Ride! This year’s Trail Fest will take place on Saturday, September 10th, and Sunday, September 11th. We will be having it out at our staging location like last year (also the start of this year’s enduro). More info will become available closer to the event. Don’t miss out!
Photos are available for this years Loose Moose Enduro. Please visit this link to see all the pictures as well buying prints.
Please be aware there is road construction going on between Gwinn and the crossroads on M553. If you will be taking this road to the Enduro, expect delays and plan accordingly!
There will be a meeting tomorrow, June 6th, at 7pm, at the Sands Township Hall to discuss the upcoming races. Please attend!
We will be having our Moss Lake Trail cleanup this Saturday, April 23rd. Come out and meet us at the trailhead at 9:00 a.m. to help clean some trail! Bring a bike, ATV, truck, or just yourself and lend a hand with the many aspects of keeping our trails in ride-able condition. After the work is done, the UP Sandstormers invite you to have dinner on the house at the Swallow Inn located in Rapid River. Hope to see everyone there!
Due to snow, the Moss Lake Trail Cleanup that was tentatively planned for this weekend has been cancelled. Stay tuned for more info!
Time to get the bikes ready (if you haven’t already) and join us for a fun ride at the Porterfield Lake Motorcycle Trail, Saturday, April 2nd. We will meet in the parking lot around 10am. Remember to purchase your ORV sticker. Hope to see you there!
This year’s Loose Moose has changed from Sunday, June 12th, to Saturday, June 11th. This is due to an overwhelming interest to run the enduro on Saturday. Our Mini Moose Family Enduro will now take place Sunday, June 12th. Please be sure to spread the word, and keep an eye on our website and facebook page for more info as it becomes available!
The UP Sandstormers invite you to join us Saturday, February 13th, for some ice fishing! The DNR are offering free fishing for the weekend so no fishing license is needed. Depending on ice conditions, the location is tentatively set for Kipling Boat Launch just north of Gladstone. Meeting time will be 10am at the boat launch, with fishing concluding around 4pm. Lunch will be provided. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in joining us. Direct questions to Nick Zambon at (906)236-3241. Come out and have some fun!
